I find it so hard to believe we live in a world where people are killed because of who they love.
Sorry to be such a downer but this just fucking depresses me.

Sigh. It is really depressing, but it needs to be known so it can be fixed…

Sad, but at the same time, I feel like the issue of marriage is made too much of a deal of in America. I mean, it’s all fine and good to have that freedom, but there are other freedoms that I feel like I don’t have. Lots of people that are outside the gender norm live in that reality, and most of them are least concerned with marriage. I don’t know, it all saddens me.
China and Russia also have death penalty or jail, or psychiatric hospital. Sometimes I think the amount of democracy and freedom in a country can be measured pretty accurately by such things. If a country punishes homosexuality, other basic human rights will be very likely under pressure and “regulated” too.
